Online tuition fees for Class 1 to 10, published openly

These are the online tuition fees for Class 1 to 10 in full. Group classes start at ₹2,000 a month, and the dearest thing we offer - in-person home tuition in Bengaluru for a board year - is ₹9,000. What moves the price is your child’s class, not their city: nothing here changes because of where you message us from, and nothing is held back until you enquire.

Most tuition websites make you fill in a form to find out what they charge. That is a sales tactic, not a pricing policy. A parent deciding whether tuition is affordable this month should be able to find that out in ten seconds, without handing over a phone number first.

Teaching Class 2 is not the same job as teaching Class 10, so the fee is not the same either. Primary is one teacher across every subject; Class 9 and 10 is a subject specialist working towards a board exam. Prices are per child, per month, and every one of them is on this page - nothing is held back until you enquire.

Side by side

The same four plans, in one line each

The per-class figure is the monthly fee divided by the classes in that month. It is the only fair way to compare a plan with eight classes against one with sixteen.

What changes the price

Three things move the fee, and none of them is your postcode

A parent in Kochi and a parent in Delhi pay the same for the same online plan. What actually changes the number is how much teaching time your child gets, and how much of it is theirs alone.

  • How many classes a month

The plans on this page range from 8 live classes/month to 16 live classes/month. A child who needs one subject shored up does not need the same number of classes as a child covering everything, and you should not pay as though they did.

  • How many children in the batch

A group class splits the teacher's hour between more families, so it costs less per child. One-to-one is ₹5,000 a month because that hour belongs to one child only.

  • Online or in person

In-person home tuition in Bengaluru is ₹6,000 a month - the highest fee on the site, because it includes the teacher's travel and a 60 min class rather than a shorter online one. Seats are genuinely limited.

  • How long each class runs

Classes run 45 min to 60 min depending on the plan. Longer is not automatically better for a Class 2 child - attention runs out well before the clock does - so the length is set by what the age can actually hold.

What you are not charged for

The parts that stay free

The assessment. A free 20-minute assessment. We find where your child actually is, then tell you what we would do about it. No card, no commitment. No payment details are taken to book it and there is nothing to cancel afterwards. You are welcome to sit beside your child and watch the whole thing.

Everything published on this site. The printable worksheets, the learning games and the articles for parents are free to use and free to print, with no sign-up, no account and no email wall. Use them even if you never book a class with us.

Asking questions. Messaging Kanchan on WhatsApp to ask whether your child needs tuition at all, or which plan fits, costs nothing and does not put you on a list.

If something is not listed inside a plan above, ask before you pay rather than assuming either way. We would far rather answer the question than have you find out later.

Before you pay for anything

  • Take the free assessment first - it is with a real teacher, not a sales call
  • Ask the teacher directly whether your child needs the bigger plan
  • Check the class times against your child's actual evening, not your ideal one
  • Read the refund policy so you know where you stand if you stop
  • Fees are per child, per month - not per term and not per year

Class hours (IST): weekdays 16:00-20:00, weekends 09:00-13:00.

The honest bit

Whether this is worth ₹3,000 a month

It depends entirely on what your child needs, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. A child who is broadly fine and just wants someone to check their homework does not need sixteen classes a month. A child who has quietly stopped understanding Maths since Class 4 needs more than a worksheet pack, and no amount of free material will fix that on its own.

What the monthly fee buys is a teacher who has already taught your child’s exact class, subject and board, and who sees the same few children every week. In a batch that size, every child is asked something directly in every class. That is the entire product. It is also why we cap the batch rather than growing it - the moment a batch reaches fifteen, the fee might stay the same but the thing you were paying for has gone.

Tell us your child's class, board and where they are struggling. We put them with a teacher who has taught exactly that, and you meet them in the free assessment before deciding anything.

If after the free assessment you decide the answer is no, that is a completely reasonable outcome and there is nothing to unsubscribe from. Take the worksheets anyway.

Fees for families overseas, in your own currency

Published here rather than quoted on a call, the same as the Indian fees above. These are not converted from the rupee prices — each market is priced against what tuition actually costs there.

Questions about fees

What parents ask about the price

How much does online tuition cost per month?

Small-group Spoken English is ₹2,000 a month, small-group all-subject tuition is ₹3,000 a month, one-to-one online tuition is ₹5,000 a month, and in-person home tuition in Bengaluru is ₹6,000 a month. All fees are per child, per month.

Is the fee the same for Class 1 and for Class 10?

Yes. Every plan on this page covers Class 1 to 10 at the same price. We do not charge more as a child moves up, and we do not charge a board-exam premium in Class 10.

Does the assessment cost anything?

No. A free 20-minute assessment. We find where your child actually is, then tell you what we would do about it. No card, no commitment. No payment details are taken to book it, and there is nothing to cancel afterwards. If we do not think we are the right fit for your child, we will say so ourselves.

Do I pay separately for worksheets or study material?

No. Weekly worksheets are part of the plans that list them, and every worksheet, game and article published on this site is free to use with no sign-up and no account.

Can two of my children share one plan?

The fees on this page are per child, because each child sits in the batch that matches their own class and level. If you are enrolling two children, message us and we will tell you plainly what it works out to before you pay anything.

What if we want to stop after a month?

Then you stop. Fees are charged by the month rather than by the term or the year, so there is no long contract to unwind. Our refund policy sets out what happens to classes you have paid for and not used.

Why is one-to-one more than double the group fee?

Because it is a different thing. In a group class the teacher's preparation and hour are shared between several families. In one-to-one, the lesson plan is built for one child and the whole class belongs to them. ₹5,000 a month is what that costs to run honestly.

Is the fee cheaper if my child misses classes?

The monthly fee is not reduced for a class your child chooses to miss, but the class is not simply lost either - the plans that include recordings give you the session to watch, and the teacher will pick the topic up in the next class. If we cancel a class, that is a different matter and is covered by the refund policy.

We live outside India. Are the fees different?

No. The same fees apply to Indian families living abroad, and the one-to-one plan exists partly because it schedules around your evening rather than ours. Tell us your city when you book the assessment and we will suggest times that actually work.
