Scholur parent reviews, and how to judge any tutor before you pay
Most parents land here to answer one question: can these people be trusted with my child? Reviews are one way to judge that, and on a site as new as this one they are the weakest way - so below is what we promise in writing, how to judge any tuition provider in a single trial class, and exactly where our own reviews stand.
We are new, and there are no parent reviews published here yet. Not because nobody has said anything kind, but because we have not collected and checked enough real ones, and we will not write filler to fill the gap in the meantime.
It would take about twenty minutes to invent six glowing quotes, attach plausible first names and cities to them, and add a 4.9-star rating to our search listing. Every parent reading this knows that. That is exactly why a page full of anonymous praise proves nothing - and why we would rather show you an empty one and tell you the truth about it.
It also matters legally. Publishing invented reviews or unearned rating markup breaches Google’s structured-data policy and India’s consumer-protection guidance on fake reviews. We are not going to start our relationship with you by breaking both.

These four rules are written down now, before there is any pressure to bend them. When reviews do appear on this page, hold us to every one.
Only from parents we have actually taught
A review goes up only if the child is or has been in one of our batches. No friends, no staff, no writers paid by the word.
In the parent's own words, with permission asked first
We ask before we publish anything, and we ask again before using a first name or a child's class. Nothing is edited beyond trimming length.
The lukewarm ones stay up too
If a parent tells us the classes helped with Maths but did nothing for handwriting, that is the review we publish - not a rewritten version of it.
No star rating until there is one to report
You will not see an average score in our search listings that is not backed by real, counted, consented reviews. There is no rating markup on this page today.
Fair questions about an empty page
Why are there no reviews on this page?
Because we have not collected and verified enough real ones to publish yet, and we are not willing to write filler in the meantime. An empty reviews page is honest; an invented one is not.
How can I judge Scholur without reviews to read?
Take the free assessment. It is with the teacher we would actually match to your child, it costs nothing, and no payment details are taken. Forty-five minutes of watching a real class tells you more than forty testimonials would.
I am already a Scholur parent. How do I leave a review?
Message Kanchan on WhatsApp, or email [email protected], with a line or two about what changed for your child. We will ask before publishing anything, and you can ask us to take it down later without giving a reason.
Will you publish my child's name or photograph?
No. We do not publish children's names or photographs on this site at all. At most a review shows a parent's first name, a city, and the child's class - and only with permission asked in advance. See our privacy policy.
Do you offer anything in return for a review?
No. No discount, no free class, no gift. A review bought with a discount tells the next parent nothing useful, and under India's consumer protection rules on fake and incentivised reviews it should not be presented as an ordinary one.
Will you publish negative reviews?
Yes, where the parent is content for us to. We would rather a parent read a fair criticism and book anyway than read only praise and distrust the lot of it. If a complaint reveals something we got wrong, we would also rather fix it than bury it.
