The model paragraph has five sentences and a clear shape: the first says which festival, the middle three say what happens, and the last says why it is the favourite. That closing line is what most children leave out - a paragraph that simply stops feels unfinished to a marker, and one sentence fixes it.

While your child works
- Insist the comprehension answer repeats part of the question. It is the single highest-value habit in Hindi comprehension and it transfers to every subject.
- The model paragraph is one possible answer, not the correct one. Judge your child's on whether it has an opening and a closing line.
- If your child writes four good sentences and stops, ask 'and why do you like it?' - that becomes the closing sentence.
